DSI TEMPEST (2011 - 2020) BY DAVE SMITH INSTRUMENTS (NOW SEQUENTIAL)
The Tempest (first named LinnDrum 2) was a professional drum machine originally designed by legendary instrument designers Dave Smith and Roger Linn. It had two digital and two analog oscillators, switchable (2 or 4 pole) Curtis analog low-pass filter and one analog high pass filter - all for each of it's six voices. It's got analog VCAs, five ADSR envelopes and two LFOs pr voice. All parameters were programmable and tweakable in real time. It sounds great and it's fun to play!
The Tempest was in production from it's release in 2011 until June 2020.
